Taylor Hanson's wife, Natalie, has given birth to the couple's sixth child. Baby Claude Indiana Emmanuel, referred to as just "Indiana" or "Indy" by his parents, arrived on Wednesday (Dec. 26).

"Claude Indiana Emmanuel Hanson welcomed with love 12.26.18," Natalie wrote on Instagram, where she showed a photo of their newborn son.

"Happy Birthday to my best friend and beautiful wife Natalie," Taylor -- who's on break from Hanson's String Theory symphonic tour with his brothers before it picks up again in January -- posted alongside a photo of his wife holding Indiana. "Overjoyed to share the gift of a lifetime, little Indiana Hanson, born 12.26.2018."

The family shared another picture with People, telling the publication, "Our new little man, Indy, is the best gift our family could imagine. His arrival brings with it a new sense of adventure and excitement for the future."

Taylor and Natalie are also the parents of Jordan Ezra, 16; River Samuel, 12; Viggo Moriah, 10; Penelope "Penny" Anne, 13, and Wilhelmina "Willa" Jane, 6.

Natalie hinted at, but didn't reveal, the pair's name choice for the newest addition to their family in a blog post on Nameberry in November. "Both our top girl and boy choices right now are main characters in George Sand novels," she had said at the time. (Sand published a novel titled Indiana, with a heroine of the same name, in 1832.)
