    Suge Knight says Tupac had discussed faking his death only weeks before he was shot

    "He got to talking about faking his own death."

    Death Row Records founder Suge Knight has claimed that Tupac Shakur discussed faking his own death only weeks before he was shot dead.

    The hip-hop icon reportedly discussed faking his death during a trip to Maui, which came after he signed to Death Row Records and Knight paid his $1.4 million bail.

    Although currently serving a 28-year prison sentence for voluntary manslaughter, Knight made the claims in a pre-recorded interview for the new documentary American Dream/American Knightmare, where he discussed the weeks before Tupac’s death in September 1996.

    “We was in Maui, you know what I mean, and Pac had, like, never been to Maui. And he got to talking about faking his own death,” he said.

    “And Pac was more down for doing, like, the last little videos and s*** of him dying all in the white, you know what i’m saying’, with Redd Foxx and everybody like that.”

    The reference to the “little videos” reflects the music video for Tupac’s track ‘I Ain’t Mad At Cha’, which was recorded only weeks before his death and offered an eerie premonition as he is shot and ascends to heaven.

    Suge explained: “He was cussin’ everybody out. With this particular video, he was like, ‘man, what’s up’, right? And I felt like, he talkin’ about this shit, and our dreams and our future is built together because we planning on doing, so if you talking about not being here, losing your life, and doing all these motherfucking videos where you are dead and shit, I’m like, shit, if something really happen you… I ain’t going to be that motherfucker with tears in my eyes, I’m gonna be that motherfucker still pushing for you.”

    In October, Knight’s son claimed that Tupac is alive and living in Malaysia. In a series of since deleted Instagram posts, Sure J. Knight posted a series of photos in which he claimed that the star hadn’t really died over 20 years ago.

    The first post contained only the words “Tupac is alive”, while a follow-up showed a screenshot of a text conversation where an unknown person had messaged Knight saying: “You said to much. Time for you to go.”

    Tupac is probably alive but that doesn't change the fact that Suge iis a very bad person who wanted Pac dead.
    It was many and many a year ago,
    In a kingdom by the sea,
    That a maiden there lived whom you may know
    By the name of Annabel Lee;
    And this maiden she lived with no other thought
    Than to love and be loved by me.
