Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor is giving fans a sneak peak of his undoubtedly frightening new mask.

On Sunday (Dec. 23), Taylor -- who also fronts the rock band Stone Sour -- took to Instagram to tease the mask in a mysterious black-and-white photo. See the post below.

"Soon... #thenewface #2019 #wanyk," Taylor captioned the image.

Keeping with past tradition, the member of Slipknot unveil a fresh mask with each new studio album. As previously reported, the group plans to release its sixth album in 2019. It will follows 2014's chart-topping set, .5: The Gray Chapter.

On Halloween, the masked metal rockers released their head-banging new single "All Out Life."

"'All Out Life' means get the f--- up, go live your life and live it all-out," Shawn "Clown" Crahan told Billboard. "The band's been gone for three years. You want blood from me? You got it. That's what I've been giving you for 20 years. But I want blood from you, too. We're no longer just a band. We're a culture."
