Young Thug was also intended to appear

Ski Mask The Slump God says that XXXTentacion was due to appear on his recent album ‘Stokely‘, before the rapper’s death aged 20.

“Actually, me and Thug first linked up after Jahseh’s death,” he said. “So, we was mainly talking about that and how Thug really fucked with X and how he was already having a song prepared to make with him.”

“X was also supposed to be on there,” he continued. “Could be later things though, so it’s not for sure not happening so me and XXXTentacion could still have songs.”

XXXTentacion had been accused of domestic abuse by his ex-girlfriend last year. He pled not guilty to the charges but confessed to domestic abuse and other violent acts in a secret recording.

He has appeared on records after his death a number of times. Posthumous album release, ‘Skins’, reached number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart earlier this week. The album sold 132,000 album units during its first week of release, including 52,000 traditional copies.

‘Skins’ is the third studio album from the controversial late artist and features 10 songs, one of which – ‘One Minute’ – features Kanye West. West is the only guest appearance on the album.

West seemingly defends XXXTentacion on the album, as was reported earlier in December when the album was leaked ahead of its release . West opens the song by rapping: “Now your name is tainted by the claims they paintin’/The defendant is guilty, no one blames the plaintiff.”

XXXTentacion was also revealed as the “surprise guest” on the ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ soundtrack
