Skepta has shared the music video for his song ‘Pure Water’.

The track, which was released in May, now has a black-and-white video to accompany it – and it’s a glamorous affair.

In the video Skepta, real name Joseph Junior Adenuga, is initially seen wrapped in silk sheets before launching into verse with bejewelled women surrounding him.

Skepta has been busy with collaborations this year. He joined forces with A$AP Rocky for ‘Praise The Lord (Da Shine)’ in May and featured on ‘Money Right’ with Dizzee Rascal in September.

Wiley slammed Skepta and Dizzee last month for their collaboration, saying : “You know why I’m the king? Because I tell people to work with you, you tell people to ‘fuck Wiley. Fuck grime, I’m a pop star. Fuck all them man.’ You and Skepta, I hope you’re happily ever after bruv.”

‘Pure Water’, released in May, follows the grime soloist’s 2016 breakout record ‘Konnichiwa’, which won the Mercury Prize.

Adenuga also dropped a surprise EP, ‘Vicious’, in October last year.

Meanwhile, the rapper has been confirmed for the 2019 Manchester International Festival, along with Yoko Ono and Idris Elba.
