They're trying to find #eggboy on social media

Rolling Loud, one of Hip-Hop’s largest festivals, has offered free tickets for life to an Australian teen who egged a right-wing politician.

The video of the incident, which you can watch below, went viral with the teen soon becoming known #Eggboy on social media. The incident occurred after senator Fraser Annling made Islamaphobic comments about this week’s mosque attacks in New Zealand.

After the incident, the senator proceeded to throw punches at the boy who was later escorted away by security.

Now, Rolling Loud Festival has offered the boy free tickets for life in support of his actions and are seeking to find him via social media. On Twitter they wrote: “Someone put us in touch with #eggboy because we want to give him free tickets for life.”

The teenager, who was later identified as Will Connolly, was reportedly taken into custody before later being released without charge.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison condemned the senator’s remarks, tweeting: “The remarks by Senator Fraser Anning blaming the murderous attacks by a violent, right-wing, extremist terrorist in New Zealand on immigration are disgusting.”

Meanwhile, a GoFundMe page has now raised more than $7,000 for the teen to go towards any legal fees that may arise from the incident and to “buy more eggs”.
