Radiohead drummer Philip Selway will release his second solo album, Weatherhouse on October 7th via Bella Union, and now he's shared the enchanting, haunting clip for album cut "Coming Up for Air."

Directed by the Spanish film collective NYSU, the clip plays with shifting perspectives as cameras swoop on various vignettes to reveal the seams behind what otherwise look like classic movie shots: A giant pipe sitting horizontally is tweaked to look like a giant hole with two men peering down; a woman moves a cardboard cutout of an eye behind an even larger keyhole as the camera zooms in to make it look life-sized; and a man standing on a riser drops a key into a glass box filled with water as the camera moves beneath, making it look like it was shot from below the surface.

At the end of the "Coming Up for Air" clip, each little scene is shown, minus the movie magic, and Selway's wafting vocals and minimalist production — simple percussion and a pulsing synth, which gives way to the chorus' blossoming piano — prove to be the perfect soundtrack.

"Good videos can make you rethink the song that you’ve written," Selway said of the clip in a statement. "They also shine a light on what makes the track tick. NYSU have made a visually rich and intriguing piece for 'Coming Up For Air' which stands up in its own right, yet feels in tune with the track."

Weatherhouse comes four years after Selway's 2010 solo debut, Familial, with the drummer enlisteing the help of members of his former backing band, Adem Ilhan and Quinta for the new album.

As for Selway's other major musical endeavor, Radiohead will reportedly start recording the follow-up to their 2011 LP, The King of Limbs, this September. In an interview with Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC 6, guitarist Johnny Greenwood said, "We're going to start up in September, playing, rehearsing and recording and see how it's sounding."
