The star has been involved in an emergency plane landing, car crash and more recently

Post Malone‘s recent run of bad luck could be down to the star being “cursed” by “the most haunted object in the world”.

This summer has seen the ‘Better Now’ musician involved in an emergency landing after his private jet’s wheels were damaged in-flight, a high-speed car crash, and the target of a home invasion where armed intruders broke into a house that used to belong to him.

Now, a video has been released that some say offer an explanation for Malone’s bad luck. The star is seen in the clip hanging out with Ghost Adventures‘ Zak Bagans at his Haunted Museum in Las Vegas. Bagans recently acquired the dybbuk box that inspired the movie The Possession and is said to be the “most haunted object in the world”.

The video shows Bagans touching the box while Malone touches his shoulder. The silent clip then shows the pair running out of the room for no apparent reason. According to Bagans, the footage was filmed in June – two months before the musician’s bad luck appeared to begin.

According to TMZ, Bagans said Malone touching his shoulder while he was touching the box, which is normally kept behind a protective casing, would be enough to trigger a curse. Malone told the site he thinks God hates him.

Dybbuk is Yiddish for “malicious spirit” and the box’s curse apparently dates back to the Holocaust.

Meanwhile, Post Malone is due to hold his own festival, Posty Fest 2018, next month. The event will take place at Dallas’ Dos Equis Pavilion and will see the star joined by Travis Scott and Tyler, The Creator.

The rapper was also due to make a joint album with Mac Miller before his death. Miller said in August the pair had been “jamming” with Thundercat and Frank Dukes, and “having a great time” working together.
