Police pepper spray crowd after Travis Scott show is cancelled last minute

The cancellation was due to "production issues"

Police reportedly pepper sprayed a crowd outside the Bank of Oklahoma Center in Tulsa last night, following Travis Scott’s cancelled performance at the venue.

The sold out show was postponed due to last minute production issues. “Tulsa so sorry I can’t perform at tonight’s sold out show,” Scott tweeted. “We had last minute production issues and I can’t give y’all an incomplete show. Rescheduled to March 26 all tix still valid. Everyone get home safe.”

However, once the cancellation was announced, fans allegedly began pounding on the doors and chanting “let us in”.

Filmed footage also sees a thrown object shatter one of the glass doors. According USA Today and Tulsa World, police responded by shooting pepper balls into the crowd. You can see footage from the incident below.

Earlier this month, Scott released a video for his collaborative track with James Blake. ‘Mile High’ is taken from the Blake’s fourth album ‘Assume Form‘, and also features additional production coming from Metro Boomin.

The clip sees Scott and Blake meet at the Mile High Cafe before the latter loses focus and begins to hallucinate as he stirs his tea. The pair then fall into a darkened underworld where they perform the single. At the end, we flick back to the real world where Blake is sat motionless at the cafe table.

The video was directed by Nabil, who has previously helmed visuals for Arctic Monkeys, Foals, Bon Iver, Frank Ocean, and more

Scott performed at the 2019 Grammys earlier this week. He treated the crowd to ‘Stop Trying To Be God’ (featuring James Blake) and ‘No Bystanders’.
