Kings of Leon, Jimmy Fallon and more will also stop by the NBC sketch show next month.

With the weather getting cold, this December, "Saturday Night Live" will welcome some of the hottest acts in the game to Studio 8H this December. The show has confirmed that One Direction, Kings of Leon and Justin Timberlake are all slated to be musical guests on the Saturday night staple.

One Direction, who made their "SNL" debut last year, will be back on December 7 with Paul Rudd as the night's host. 1D first appeared on the show in April 2012, and they gushed to MTV News about "SNL" favorite Justin Timberlake and on getting the opportunity to appear on the show so early in their careers.

"This is our kind of show," Niall Horan noted about that first-ever appearance on the show. "This is our perfect kind of show [and] we get involved as much as we can."

And, yes, Timberlake will cap off his impressive 2013 with yet another turn as the musical guest on the December 21 episode. This is his second appearance on the show just this year, having pulled double duty as the night's host and musical guest back in March.

He'll be joined by one of close pals, Jimmy Fallon. The "SNL" alum will host that night. Their team-up comes just months after Fallon declared him "The President of Pop" and presented him with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs.
