The Cheshire-based festival will take place from July 18-21

New Order and Hot Chip have joined Kraftwerk as the headliners of Bluedot festival 2019.

The fourth annual music, science and culture festival, which is held in the grounds of the Jodrell Bank Observatory in Cheshire, will take place later this summer from July 18-21.

Kraftwerk were first announced as headliners of the 2019 festival back in November, with the band set to deliver a special 3D set on the main Lovell Stage. Hot Chip will top the bill on the Friday (July 19), while New Order will close the festival with a headline set on July 21.

Elsewhere on the bill, the acclaimed likes of Jon Hopkins, Kate Tempest and John Grant will all perform during the festival.

808 State, GoGo Penguin, Gruff Rhys, Anna Calvi, The Go! Team and Tokimonsta have also all been announced for Bluedot 2019 – you can find out more about this year’s line-up here.

Tickets for Bluedot 2019 go on sale on Thursday (January 24) at 10am, and you’ll be able to get them from here.

Back in December, New Order announced that they would be reissuing their debut album ‘Movement’ in 2019. Billed as “the definitive edition”, the release (which will also include a DVD featuring live performance footage) will hit the shelves in April.
