Mick Jagger has added a new title to his resume, great-grandfather.

Jagger's granddaughter, Assisi, has given birth to a baby girl with her boyfriend Alex Key. At 21, Assisi is the same age as her mother (and Mick's granddaughter), Jade, was when she had her. Assisi told England's Hello! magazine "the women in our family just tend to have children young. It runs in the genes."

Jagger, who has seven children with four different women, married Bianca De Macias on May 12, 1971 and their daughter Jade was born on October 21 of the same year. She is the only child shared by the couple.

Jade and a classmate at Cambridge, Piers Jackson, had two children, Assisi (born July 2, 1992) and Amba (May 26, 1996). They are two of Jagger's four grandchildren.

While Jagger becoming a great-grandfather at 70 is news enough, the Daily Mail reports that the pregnancy also include a rather strange baby shower thrown by Jerry Hall, Assisi's stepmother and the woman that is thought to have been the reason for the breakup of Mick and Bianca's marriage.

Mick has had a tumultuous year with a world tour postponed after the suicide of his long-time girlfriend, L'Wren Scott, in March.
