2 Chainz and Nipsey Hussle seconded his notion.

Meek Mill has big-picture responsibility high on his list of New Year’s resolutions.

Meek tweeted out a challenge to his fellow rappers on Christmas Day (Dec. 25), appearing to have bank accounts and future plans on his mind.

“Let’s start having a property and owning business challenge instead of jewelry, jets, and cars,” he wrote. “So we can have money… 50-plus years from now.”

Since Meek’s advice went live, 2 Chainz and Nipsey Hussle have seconded his notions on Instagram.

Meek’s comment arrived the same day he tweeted in the defense of 21 Savage, whose new song “ASMR” was criticized by some for advancing Jewish stereotypes (It contains the lyric, "We been getting that Jewish money,” which 21 has since apologized for). Meek pointed out the importance of business ownership and overcoming hatred in his stance on the lyrics.

As far as Meek’s own business interests, 2018 ended on a high note; Meek's Maybach/Atlantic Records project Championship -- his first full-length release since his April release from prison -- topped the Billboard 200 albums chart earlier this month.
