Information has been issued to those lucky enough to bag the hottest tickets in town

Matty Healy and Banquet Records have warned The 1975 fans against queueing overnight for the band’s intimate gig tomorrow.

The Manchester gang are set to release their highly-anticipated third album, ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’, this Friday (November 30). In a five-star review, NME said that the group have “produced an artefact that sums up millennial life, a magpie pop masterpiece that could only be made right now and right here.”

On the eve of its release, Healy and co. will treat fans to a tiny gig – hitting the stage in Kingston for Banquet Records’ New Slang night.

With fans eager to witness the lads’ live return ahead of their arena tour next year, the band’s frontman has told attendees that they “will be moved on” if they attempt to queue for the show overnight.

“Please don’t try camp out for the show on Thursday,” Healy tweeted. “And don’t think you’re sly like ‘yeah of course’ and then just try and do it anyway cos I’ve got people there who will stop you so it’s simply not gonna happen.

“It’s too cold. Don’t waste your time trying it as you will be moved x”

Following tomorrow night’s performance, The 1975 will also rock up at London’s Camden Assembly on December 4. The show was confirmed last week after being teased online.

Meanwhile, Matty Healy recently described the band’s ‘Music For Cars’ era as their “Gorillaz moment”. Asked if the next chapter would still mark the end for the group, the musician said: “No! Surely not. It’s a semicolon. That’s longer than a comma, isn’t it? But shorter than a full stop?

“Our Gorillaz moment.”

The 1975 will embark on a UK and Ireland arena tour in support of their new record in January. Find any remaining tickets here and see the full schedule below.
