The artists have curated them for the new Led Zeppelin Playlist Generator

Jack White, Royal Blood, and others have curated new Led Zeppelin-themed playlists for a “playlist generator” dedicated to the band.

The new playlist programme has been launched to mark the 50th anniversary of the band’s second album, ‘Led Zeppelin II’, and allows fans to build their own playlist from the group’s back catalogue. The tracks on offer include all of Led Zeppelin’s studio and live records as well as recent deluxe editions.

White, Royal Blood, and Mexican rock band MANÁ have all contributed their own playlists for fans to enjoy. White’s features some more obscure Led Zep tracks, including alternate mixes of ‘Two Ones Are Won (Achilles Last Stand)’ and ‘St. Tristan’s Sword’, plus live versions of other songs recorded for the BBC.

“They are an immovable force in music,” the musician said in a statement. “I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t like them.”

Royal Blood’s curated collection, meanwhile, features some of the band’s biggest hits, like ‘Immigrant Song’ and ‘Good Times Bad Times’. Frontman Mike Kerr said: “Led Zeppelin’s magic has always been about the chemistry that existed between the four members. Nearly 50 years on and the quality of the songs, the guts and the swag on these recordings is untouched.”

You can listen to White’s playlist and find Royal Blood and MANÁ’s on the new Led Zeppelin playlist generator site, where you can also curate your own.

Meanwhile, it was announced earlier this month that the classic rock band were teaming up with Vans for some special 50th anniversary apparel. Fans can get their hands on shoes featuring images from the band’s iconic albums.
