A$AP Rocky‘s new single ‘Sundress’ samples Tame Impala‘s ‘Why Won’t You Make Up Your Mind?’ – check out the track below.

Rocky’s surprise new single dropped earlier today (November 20) with the accompanying video – which was directed by Frank Lebon – placing the Harlem rapper in the starring role as he makes his way through a club that appears to have been frozen in time.

‘Sundress’ was co-produced by Danger Mouse and features an interpolation of the beat from the Tame Impala track ‘Why Won’t You Make Up Your Mind?’ The song featured on the band’s first album ‘InnerSpeaker’. You can listen to the track, and watch its video, below.

Rumours of a Rocky and Tame Impala collaboration have been swirling around since 2014. More recently, Kevin Parker reportedly contributed a song called ‘Pretty Guy’ to Rocky’s third studio album, ‘Testing’. The song has, however, yet to see the light of day.

‘Sundress’ follows on from ‘Testing’, which was released back in May. The single isn’t the first bit of new material to emerge following that record, however. Back in June, the song ‘Nights Like This’ was released as part of Lord Fubu’s ‘First Name Lord, Last Name Fubu’ beat tape.

Earlier this month, Kevin Parker posted an update on Instagram after he was forced to flee a property he was renting in Malibu, California following the spread of the destructive wildfires which have caused devastation across the west coast state.
