LG took part in a Twitter Q&A earlier today

Liam Gallagher has shared an update on his upcoming new solo record, while once again hitting out at his brother Noel. Check out the posts below.

The former Oasis frontman, who is currently at work on the ‘As You Were‘ follow-up, took to Twitter earlier today (March 23) to answer questions from fans.

One follower pressed the ‘Wall Of Glass’ singer on when we could expect to hear new music. “We finish recording on the 2nd of April now go spread the butter,” Gallagher revealed.

Later, LG took aim at his older brother Noel by labelling him a “hipster” and criticising his appearance on today’s episode of Soccer AM.

Asked if there was a potential reconciliation on the cards for the Gallaghers, Liam responded: “No I’ve heard [Noel’s] getting worse [apparently] he’s a HIPSTER.” He then described Noel as “the gift that keeps on giving”, adding: “wtfs that all about on soccer am as you were LG x.”

Elsewhere, the star was reminded that today is Blur frontman Damon Albarn‘s birthday. After one fan asked if he wanted to offer any kind words to his Brit Pop rival, Liam fired back with a simple: “Tosser”.

Meanwhile, Liam Gallagher has responded to news that his Pretty Green fashion label is expected to go into administration next week.

With the clothing brand – set up by Gallagher in 2009 – said to be seeking investment, the musician posted: “As long as we’ve got our health eh gotta put things into perspective.” He closed his tweet, “as you were PG I mean LG x”.

Earlier this week, a studio photo revealed that Gallagher’s son Gene will feature on his second solo record. “Gene laying down some bongos on my new tune as you were LG x,” Liam captioned the snap of the 17-year-old.
