The dates of the gigs will further fuel rumours that she'll be playing at Glastonbury this year

Lauryn Hill has announced two big outdoor summer shows in the UK – check out details of the gigs below.

The musician and former Fugees member recently completed a European arena tour in celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the release of her classic debut album ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’.

Hill will return to these shores in June and July for more live shows, where she’ll headline the Nocturne Live concert series at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire on June 21 and the Love Supreme Jazz Festival in East Sussex on July 7.

The gigs will see Hill perform a career-spanning set, with a press release promising that the artist will play “tracks from her multi Grammy award-winning solo album, classic Fugees songs and new material.”

Laura Mvula and BBC Sound of 2019 and Brits critics’ choice nominee Mahalia will support Hill for the Blenheim Palace show.

The timing of the two shows will also further fuel speculation that Hill will perform at Glastonbury this year. Set to be held between June 26-30, the fact that Hill will be in the country or in Europe around that time will no doubt spark excitement among her fans that she will be performing at the festival.

Hill’s ‘Miseducation’ tour in North America last summer drew a wealth of big-name support acts, from M.I.A. to comedian Dave Chappelle.
