After Miley sang 'Summertime Sadness' on BBC Radio on Tuesday (November 12), MTV News took a trip down memory lane with these covers.

For many of us (OK, maybe just the east coast), we saw the first flecks of snow pelting us through rough winds today. So when we saw that Miley Cyrus had covered Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness" on Tuesday (November 12), we were feeling it. Where have those warm days gone?

The BBC Radio cover is pure acoustic Miley bliss. Sure, the girl can twerk, smoke and cause a racket anywhere she goes, but there's nothing like her raw voice and soothing strums of guitars to show the singer's other side.

After seeing the BBC performance, MTV News took a trip down memory lane, remembering Miley's other covers. Here are other songs Miley made her own (and don't forget her precious duet with dad for some "Achy Breaky Heart" nostalgia).

"Jolene" - Dolly Parton
Smilers might recognize a similar "Sadness" vibe from when Cyrus covered her godmother Dolly Parton with her rendition of "Jolene." (Bangerz collaborator Pharrell admitted that hearing this cover made him want to work with her.) With shuffling drums and an urgency in her voice, the cover mirrors "Summertime Sadness" in its telling of an unconditional, yet uncontrollable love on the rocks.

We Can't Stop/Blurred Lines/Give It 2 U (Medley)
"Blurred Lines" - Robin Thicke
Must we remind you that she covered Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards? A suited-up Thicke joined her onstage to perform a mash-up of their hits. Miley, of course, was the one in the nude-colored latex underwear, patting herself with a foam finger.

Miley Cyrus Performs 'Rebel Yell'
"Rebel Yell" - Billy Idol
Clad in a spike-studded, black jacket and a freshly buzzed blonde 'do, Cyrus looked about to knock somebody out when she took the stage for "VH1 Divas." Watch as she draws out the song's intro (diva-style), crowd-surfs to the stage and totally rocks out.

"You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go" - Bob Dylan
Another folk-y cover here — courtesy of steel guitar and drum brushes. The song was used on a Bob Dylan compilation album honoring Amnesty International's 50th anniversary. The instruments are taken care of by musician Johnzo West while Miley conquers the honest, straightforward lyrics.

"Smells Like Teen Spirit" - Nirvana
Miley gave Kurt Cobain a tribute at a concert in Ecuador in 2011 with a cover of "Smells Like Teen Spirit." Mixing her country twang with Cobain's rousing "hello" screams, she went headstrong in the song after explaining that it was what inspired her to be a performer.
