Giorgio's has a meeting with Mr. Lyons next week in Palm Springs.

Disco nightclub Giorgio's -- the Saturday night special at Sunset Boulevard's Standard Hotel, named for music producer and "Father of Disco" Giorgio Moroder -- has booked a special one-night-only pop-up at the Mr. Lyons restaurant in the desert on Jan. 3, to follow the Palm Springs Film Festival's opening night awards gala.

Located at 233 East Palm Canyon Dr., Mr. Lyons is a longstanding restaurant and lounge space famous for its menu, retro stylings and old-Hollywood glamour. For seven decades, it was family-owned and operated by David Lyons as Lyons English Grill before a reimagining in 2015 by Tara Lazar, when it became part of the Foundation 10 family, home to some other standouts known to L.A. part-timers, places like Cheeky's, Birba and Alcazar.

Giorgio's, for its part, is the five-year-old disco dance party created by Bryan Rabin and Adam Bravin, which has welcomed a who's who of boldfaced names. Just in the past few months, the two have partied alongside Beyonce, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Emma Stone, Sting, Penelope Cruz, Usher, Alan Cumming, Queen Latifah and Sam Stewart, to name a few.

The 30th edition of PSIFF is set to run Jan. 3-14.
