Kaytranda has confirmed that he will release three new tracks on Friday, while teasing further new material for 2019.

This year has seen the Canadian electronic artist drop a number of remixes. He took on Sade’s ‘Kiss Of Life’ and A Tribe Called Quest’s ‘Midnight’ during the summer, followed by a rework of ‘Waitin’ by Kelela.

Now, Kaytranda has taken to social media to announce that he will unveil three new songs on Friday (November 30). An upload of a purple and green vinyl sticker revealed the track titles and collaborators.

Opener ‘Nothin Like U’ features Ty Dolla $ign, ‘Chances’ is a collaboration with Shay Lia, with the release concluding with a solo track called ‘It Was Meant 2 B’.

Clarifying the release date, Kaytranda then tweeted: “FRIDAY”. Check out the posts below.

A follow-up tweet gave an update on when to expect his second full-length album. “all the other songs will be out next year when im gonna finish this LP i’ve been working on for the past year, stay tuned and much love.”

Kaytranada’s first album, ‘99.9%’, was released back in 2016. NME described the record as “a sublime, sunshine-y hip-hop and house-infused debut album”.

“So if you’re looking for the soundtrack to your summer, then ’99.9%’ is 100% what you need.”

Kaytranada worked with Craig David on the album’s track ‘Got It Good’, with previous collaborations also including The Internet, Anderson .Paak, and SYD.
