Nicki Minaj had not yet arrived to the set

A video shoot with Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and Tekashi 6ix9ine has been allegedly targeted by a drive-by shooting.

The shoot was taking place on Thursday (November 8) evening at an exclusive Beverly Hills home, reportedly worth $80 million. The rappers were preparing to film a video for a new track that will appear on 6ix9ine’s upcoming album, with features from Minaj and West.

TMZ reported that police were called at 10.25pm after crew members heard shots fired. A source claimed that 8 shots were heard, that no one was hurt but a bullet went through a bedroom window.

West and 6ix9ine were on set at the time but Minaj had not yet arrived. Production was halted and West swiftly left the property.

The police are now said to be reviewing surveillance video.

Last month, 6ix9ine‘s bodyguard was reportedly shot during the rapper’s post-sentencing dinner in New York.

6ix9ine had appeared in court for violating the terms of a plea agreement related to a 2015 sex crime case involving a child. While he avoided prison time, he was given an extra four years of probation. He also won’t need to register as a sex offender.

After the hearing, the rapper headed to a dinner celebration. However, during the meal, his bodyguard – who was standing outside the restaurant – was reportedly shot four times.
