Justin Bieber's south American tour has come into more trouble as the singer blamed food poisoning for walking out of a show at Buenos Aires' River Plate stadium on Sunday (November 10).

Bieber took to the stage at 10pm, an hour and a half later than planned. He performed for almost an hour, Billboard reports, before leaving the stage.

"I'm not feeling too good, I think I'm out of energy," he told the crowd, saying he was sorry and blowing a kiss before walking off the stage with his head hung low.

Earlier on in the day, he tweeted: "Not feeling so good. Actually pretty sick. Pulling it together. Argentina we got a show to do. Love u."

The pop star's manager Scooter Braun told Billboard that Bieber's food poisoning was so severe that he spent eight hours on an IV drip before Sunday night's show, and doctors advised canceling, but the singer didn't want to disappoint fans.

However, it's not the first time Bieber's south American tour has come into trouble. Last week, he walked off stage in Brazil after someone threw a plastic bottle at him.

Meanwhile, Police unsuccessfully tried to question the singer over an unverified photograph purportedly showing him spraying graffiti on the former Hotel Nacional in Rio de Janeiro, a crime a that carries a year's prison sentence.

He had also reportedly previously upset authorities in Bogota, Columbia when he graffitied a wall along one of the capital city's main avenues while being escorted by officers in a police car.

It was also claimed that Bieber had been spotted by photographers leaving a Brazilian brothel with his head covered by a bed sheet to protect his modesty.

The singer had reportedly been in the brothel for over three hours, before he headed back to his hotel with two girls. He and his security team were later kicked out of their hotel for breaking rules, according to local sources.
