Jennifer Lopez has joked she'll be getting into all kinds of 'trouble' in Las Vegas.

The 45-year-old singer-and-actress is preparing to perform a string of concerts in Sin City at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino next year.

And Jennifer sees herself partaking in huge amounts of fun while she's in town.

'It's the best restaurants, a lot of shopping. You can get into trouble over there," she laughed to USA Today. "I get into the clean kind of trouble. I'm not a gambler, and I'm not into the nightlife as much, but I have plans to enjoy myself."

Jennifer has a lot on her plate professionally, as she'll be serving as a judge on American Idol in addition to starring on new TV series Shades of Blue around the time her Vegas residency commences in early 2016.

But the mother of seven-year-old twins Emme and Maximilian has high hopes for her shows in Nevada, especially since she'll be just a four-hour drive from her life in Los Angeles.

'It'll probably be a little bit of a challenge scheduling-wise, but nothing that anybody doesn't think [I] can handle," Jennifer noted. "I'm excited. It's something I've thought about a lot. Just being in one place [and] not having to tour the world as much."

Jennifer begins work on the production of her Vegas shows next month.

The entertainer has many ideas about how to make her concerts memorable.

"There's a lot of different things over the years people have come to know me as [and] so many different things we can delve into," she said. "We haven't started exactly, but in my mind, I know it's going to be a multifaceted, high-energy kind of block party."

Jennifer's Las Vegas string of concerts will officially kick off on January 20, 2016.
