Today, on what would have been Jack Bruce's 72nd birthday, further artists were added to the bill for his tribute concert on 24 October at the Roundhouse: the eve of the first anniversary of his passing.

Hugh Cornwell (The Stranglers), Ulil Jon Roth (The Scorpions), Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake), Nico Bruce (Jack's nephew), and Ayanna Witter-Johnson have been added to the fantastic line up. Tickets available here.

Artists already announced include: Ginger Baker, Joss Stone, Phil Manzanera, Ian Anderson, Vernon Reid, Mark King, Liam Bailey, Fiona Bevan and Jack Bruce's Big Blues Band. Further additions and special guests yet to be announced.

Nitin Sawhney, musical director of the concert, said: 'I am very excited about the repertoire chosen by Jack's wife Margrit and his family. The show will consist of two halves, covering the broad range of Jack's solo work and his most classic gems with Cream. Each half will build energy in the way that Jack was used to, culminating in an explosive and uplifting conclusion to a wonderful night of Jack's favourite collaborators, friends and legendary musicians performing his work.'
