Ricky Martin arrives at the 2019 LACMA Art and Film Gala at Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Nov. 2, 2019 in Los Angeles.
As he promised his fans, superstar Ricky Martin offically released his song “Cántalo” with Residente and Bad Bunny on Tuesday (Nov. 12).

“Cántalo” is a song that leaves aside the commercial sound to become a cultural single carrying a message of union and celebration. Musically, it perfectly fuses different sounds including tambora, trumpet, salsa and trap. Plus, the combination of Martin’s voice with Residente and Bad Bunny’s rap style and the lyrics make the song unique. “Hoy no nos paran ni con tranquilizante de elefante/ El dinero, aunque sea abundante, no vale” (Nobody stops us today/ Not even with elephant soothing/ Money, although abundant, it is not worth), they sing.

Last week, Martin revealed the single cover, which replicates Puerto Rican protest posters demanding the resignation of then-governor Ricardo Roselló. Martin has also revealed his plans for 2020, which include releasing a new album and kicking off his Movimiento tour in Puerto Rico in February 2020.
