Swift will perform two songs from her latest album at the racecourse.
Taylor Swift is headed to Australia to headline the Melbourne Cup Carnival. The pop star will perform two songs off her latest album, Lover, in the Mounting Yard ahead of the horse race at Flemington Racecourse.

The Victoria Racing Club, which runs the event, is touting the performance as Swift’s only appearance in Australia following the release of hit seventh studio album.

The performance will take place on Nov. 5 at Lexus Melbourne Cup Day with passes to the event starting under 50 Australian dollars (roughly $35).

Other artists performing throughout the event include Ball Park Music, Dean Lewis, Owl Eyes and Birds of Tokyo.

The Melbourne Cup Carnival appearance will mark Swift’s first return to Australia since her Reputation stadium tour in 2018.
