This was in response to Pearl Jam covering 'We Going To Be Friends'

This week saw Jack White perform in Seattle, where he paid tribute to hometown heroes Pearl Jam with a cover of their track ‘Daughter’.

White was performing at WaMu Theater in the grunge icons’ native Seattle, where he responded to their recent cover of The White Stripes’ ‘We’re Going To Be Friends‘ with a rendition of the band’s 1993 single from the album ‘Vs’. Phones are banned from White’s shows so no footage is online, but some audio of his cover has since emerged. Check it out below.

This comes after White and Pearl Jam united for a cover of Neil Young’s ‘Rockin’ In The Free World‘ at this summer’s NOS Alive Festival.

Jack White’s setlist was:

Over and Over and Over
When I Hear My Name
Corporation

Meanwhile, Pearl Jam have made headlines today for a poster depicting President Donald Trump’s rotting corpse.

The poster, bassist Jeff Ament and artist Bobby Brown, shows Trump being slowly devoured by a bald eagle on the White House lawn as it burns down. It has since been attacked by politicians.
