The mass shooting at The Tree of Life synagogue also left seven people injured

Haim have unveiled new holiday merchandise, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Pittsburgh synagogue that was last month targeted in a mass shooting.

The band’s merch included a long sleeve ‘Haimukkah’ shirt and a ‘Happy Haimidays’ hoodie, which features a dog and cat print.

A percentage of the sales from the ‘Haimukkah’ shirt will support The Tree of Life synagogue, the onservative Jewish place of worship where eleven people were killed and seven others injured in a shooting on October 27.

Haim’s latest album, ‘Something to Tell You’, was released in 2017. Read NME’s five star review, in which writer Jamie Milton praises the band for sticking “resolutely to their roots on a slick, second retro album.”

Last year, the sister trio celebrated the first night of Hanukkah with a new original song called ‘Haimukkah’.

Elsewhere, the band fired one of their agents this summer after discovering that they’d been paid significantly less for a festival appearance than a male artist they shared the bill with.

The Californian band said the experience of receiving less than 10 times the pay of that undisclosed male artist was “fucked up”.
