Haim and Lorde joined forces to cover Sheryl Crow's 'Strong Enough' live onstage last night (November 11) at New York's Roseland Ballroom.

"So we're going to do something that we've never done live before," said Este Haim by way of introduction to the song. "We're a big fan of this song. We used to listen to this CD on day trips to Santa Barbara if you will, maybe a trip to Palm Springs, I don't know, in the Haim family van." Lorde joins the sister trio midway through the song, after being welcomed to the stage by Este, who calls the teenage chart-topper "my good friend".

Haim previously covered the track for Australian radio station Triple J. Speaking about their decision to play their own version of the song, a US hit in 1995, Danielle from the band said: "We heard it on the radio and forgot how good it is. It's such a good jam."

The LA trio, who released their debut album 'Days Are Gone' in September, will play seven UK dates in March 2014, following their sold-out UK and Ireland tour this December.
