The Norwegian band will play their breakthrough record live in full

A-Ha will commemorate their debut album ‘Hunting High and Low’ with an arena tour starting in October 2019.

Magne Furuholmen, Morten Harket and Pål Waaktaar-Savoy are set to play Dublin’s 3Arena, the SSE Arena Belfast, Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo, Leeds’ First Direct Arena, London’s Royal Albert Hall and Brighton Centre. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on November 9.

The trio will perform new and old songs plus rarities in the first half of the concert.

After an interval, the band will play the 10 songs taken from their 1985 debut in the running order of the original release.

Reflecting on the band’s concerts in 2010, guitarist Waaktaar-Savoy said: “We played the full ‘Hunting High And Low’ album live once before and that was a great experience.

“There’s not one song on that album that we’re not looking forward to playing live. We had done quite a few versions of the songs before recording the actual album and they all contain great bits and cool ideas which will be nice to incorporate into the new show.”

In related news, Metallica covered the band’s classic track, ‘Take On Me’, while performing in Norway earlier this year.
