Taken from Urine's new album

Grimes features on a new track from Mindless Self Indulgence frontman Jimmy Urine’s EURINGER project, titled ‘The Medicine Does Not Control Me’.

The song is taken from his self-titled album as Euringer, released today. As well as Grimes, the LP includes appearances from System of a Down‘s Serj Tankian and Gerard Way.

‘The Medicine Does Not Control Me’ sees Grimes sing about drugs and reputations. It marks Grimes’ latest release since her collaboration with K-pop group LOONA for ‘love4eva’ back in May.

Last month, it was revealed that Elon Musk was being sued over 420 joke used to impress Grimes. The Securities and Exchange Commission announced it was charging the Tesla CEO with fraud, based on “a series of false and misleading tweets about a potential transaction to take Tesla private.”

It came after Musk tweeted that he was “considering taking Tesla private at $420. Funding secured.” But, according to a statement from the SEC, Musk had not actually secured funding for a transaction to take Tesla private, and in fact “he allegedly knew that the potential transaction was uncertain and subject to numerous contingencies.” The SEC also pointed out that the proposed $420 share price represented “a substantial premium to [Tesla’s] trading price at the time”.

They have filed a lawsuit seeking to bar Musk from serving as an officer or a director for a publicly traded company in the future.
