Fancy a spot of glamping next year?

Accommodation extras for Glastonbury 2019 are set to go on sale this Saturday (October 27) at 10am, with punters able to get their hands on tickets for campervan parking, tipis, bell tents and more.

Tickets for the festival went on sale on October 7 and sold out in just 35 minutes – a small amount of tickets will go on sale in April 2019. These tickets are made up of returned tickets from those who managed to bag them during the initial release.

Accommodation extras are only available to those who have already purchased their festival ticket. Campervan tickets will cost £120 for a standard pitch (8m x 7m) or £200 for a double pitch (16m x 7m). They’re also non-transferable and will be printed with the name and address of the booker.

Tickets for tipis will also be going on sale. They can accommodate up to 6 adults and can be found on the southern slopes of the festival site. They’ll be priced at £1075 to hire and those purchasing tipi tickets will be asked to pay the amount in full at the time of booking. Again, those staying in a tipi must have a festival ticket.

Glastonbury adds that the tipi is “intended to be an elemental experience, without the trappings of ‘luxury’ campsites,” stating that you must bring your own bedding and expect to use basic camping facilities.

If tipis aren’t your thing, you can also purchase tickets for scout tents, bell tents, yurts, Podpads, Bellepads and Octopads. 2-person scout tents are priced at £295, while an 8-person scout tent or a 6-person octopad is priced at £1075. Accommodation extras will go on sale via See Tickets. You’ll receive a confirmation email to confirm your reservation within 24 hours of booking.
