They're already up for resale

Tickets for the Spice Girls‘ much-hyped ‘Spice World’ reunion tour went on sale on Saturday morning, but many fans have been left frustrated.

Taking to Twitter, many reported site crashes, error messages and long queue times online as they attempted to get their tickets.

Some fans were more fortunate, however. “Don’t know what the fuss was/ is I was in and out of @TicketmasterUK twice for @SPICEgirls tickets and did not que [sp] once” gloated one.

Some fans pointed out that despite their own frustrations, dozens of Spice Girls tickets are already up for sale through secondary sites.

Tickets for the Wembley Stadium gig listed from £169 at Viagogo. VIP packages are on sale there for over £2,000, and over £1,500 on StubHub.

The reunited pop group will return to the stage in June for six shows across the UK, with the band set to visit the likes of Edinburgh, Bristol, and Glasgow on the tour. They’ll wrap up the string of dates with a huge gig at Wembley Stadium on June 15

While Geri Horner, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Mel C will all perform on the dates, Victoria Beckham has decided not to join the group for their first live shows since a one-off performance at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.

Taking to Instagram to comment on the tour announcement, Beckham said that she wished her bandmates “so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year.”

“Today marks a special day for the girls as they announce the first tour dates since we performed together in 2012!” she wrote on Instagram.
