Feelin electric?

Dua Lipa, Mark Ronson and Diplo have unveiled ‘Electricity’, the fourth track to be released from their Silk City project.

The track, which emerged online late last night, is heavily influenced by 90s house influences – and backed by Lipa’s instantly recognisable vocals.

It’s also accompanied by the below music video, which sees Dua Lipa throwing a party while New York battles a power cut which has left Mark and Diplo stranded in an elevator

Last month, Silk City made their UK live debut at Bestival. Describing the set, NME wrote: “Standing in Silk City branded matching jackets, Diplo and Mark Ronson bop along in unison.

“This is, as Ronson points out, ‘only the second night of Silk City.’ And what a slot they’ve bagged for it, headlining Bestival’s Friday night. Throughout the duo’s hour and a quarter long set, the two DJs and producers give us more clues as to what their new project is all about. And, boy, is it funky. “

Meanwhile, Dua Lipa recently announced the deluxe reissue of her debut album.

The ‘New Rules’ star will re-release the record as ‘Dua Lipa – Complete Edition’ on Friday October 19, complete with a new extended version that features ‘ Electricity’, ‘Want To’ and ‘Running’ and a new track ‘Kiss and Make Up’ with BLACKPINK.
