Coming straight off the back of a huge sold out show at London's KOKO and with the recent release of their electrifying sophomore album Born Under Saturn, Django Django unveiled a mighty rework from Samir Alikhazinadeh aka Leeds based producer/DJ Happa, stripping back the single's disco elements to pave way for this fierce club inspired re-imagination.

Previously remixing the likes of Four Tet, Vondelpark and Adult Jazz, 18 year old Happa's ascent continues to bely his age, as he repeatedly sets himself apart as a producer with a distinct sound that occupies the liminal space between ambient and Berlin-based techno.

Returning to the fore in January with the superb single 'First Light', Django Django celebrated their return by flexing their new material and playing a handful of thrilling warm up shows in the north of England and in London.

The shows saw fans crammed in like sardines and dance floors bouncing, before exhilarating performances at Brighton's The Great Escape, Kingston's New Slang and London's KOKO to name a few. Django Djangos recent second single 'Reflections' came alongside the groundbreaking video directed by Natalia Stuyk, filming the band at Framestore studios (the home of CGI blockbuster Gravity) using Face Capture and Motion Shift technologies to morph each member into abstract digital sculptures. You can check out that video for 'Reflections' here.

Django Django are currently under way with their extended summer tour that will see them play a string of shows and festivals, including a headline slots on the Festival Republic stages at Reading and Leeds, before setting out on a string of December dates in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and Derry.
