Diplo dropped some details about Jack U – his collaboration with Skrillex – during a Tuesday night Ask Me Anything session on Reddit, confirming that the two EDM stars are "doing a mixtape." As Spin notes, Diplo also announced that the duo's first single will be "Take You There," which features vocals from Canadian artist Kiesza (and was previewed during a recent Paris show, as seen in the fan-shot clip below). "[I] wanna try and get a stream out it out this week," the DJ-producer wrote of the track.

Diplo confirmed plans for a full-length release with Skrillex on Twitter last month and recently made his new album Random White Dude Be Everywhere available for streaming in full. Skrillex and Diplo debuted Jack U material at Ultra Music Festival in March, taking turns to man the turntables for an hour-long set that spanned dubstep, trap, house, moombahton and hip-hop.

The musical renaissance man also has another high-profile collaboration in the works with Madonna, who is currently working on a follow-up to her 2012 LP, MDNA. "We've written about seven songs now, and hopefully maybe four or five will make it to the album," Diplo recently told Idolator of the sessions. "I've done about three weeks with her, and we’re gonna do some more projects at the end of July. She’s just really cool. I think as far as artists reinventing themselves, she did it before anybody else. She kind of began that trend of actually coming back with a whole new look and style and sound and winning it and hitting the top of the charts. Those records are gonna be crazy-sounding. We really pushed the envelope with some of the stuff we were doing."

The producer said he shared an immediate chemistry with the pop icon, adding that she encouraged him to bring out some of his "craziest shit," which led to the duo writing a track "on a whim." "[S]he was up for anything," he said. "I love when an artist gives a producer the confidence he needs to work with them, and Madonna was very open-minded to my ideas… she was down from day one."
