His fanbase is being treated to lots of new content after he made his account public last week

Frank Ocean has possibly previewed a snippet of new music on his Instagram account.

The reclusive artist recently made the decision to set his account to public. Since then, he’s been sharing regular posts on both Instagram’s regular format and on Instagram Stories.

Ocean’s only solo release to date in 2018 has been a cover of ‘Moon River’, which emerged back in February. However, Ocean used his Instagram account yesterday (November 19) to tease fans with a snippet of what sounded like new music – sparking speculation that new material could be on the way.

In the clip – which you can see below – an upbeat track is heard in the background along with the repeated phrase “I’ve got visions for my life“. Ocean himself appears in the clip, headbanging along to the music while a set of whirlwind emojis are pasted across his face.

Fans of Frank Ocean had been hopeful of a fruitful year of music from the artist, with Ocean himself having hinted that more material was on the way at the start of the year. In a Tumblr post made by Ocean, an image of a person wearing a green hat that read “IF YOU LIKED 2017, YOU’LL LOVE 2018” suggested that Ocean would be active musically in 2018.

Ocean has featured as a guest on tracks by the likes of A$AP Rocky and Travis Scott in 2018.

Earlier this month, Ocean gave away free merch to fans who voted in the recent US mid-term elections.
