Donald Glover will make two appearances in the UK next year

Childish Gambino has announced a second huge London date, due to take place next year.

The rapper and actor, whose real name is Donald Glover, will bring his ‘This Is America’ tour to the UK in Spring.

Glover was originally due to perform at London’s The O2 on November 4 but was forced to reschedule the date at the last minute after he sustained a foot injury during a gig in Dallas in September. Now, the star will play twice at the venue – at a previously announced show on March 24 and a newly confirmed date on March 25.

Tickets for the new date will go on sale at 9am on Friday (December 7) and will be available to purchase here.

Childish Gambino will play:

March 2019

24 – London, The O2
25 – London, The O2

The star has claimed his current tour will be his last ever. During the first show of the run in Atlanta, Glover reportedly told the crowd: “If you’re at this show know that it’s the last Gambino tour ever. This is not a concert. This is fucking church.”

Meanwhile, Glover has been confirmed to co-star with Rihanna in a new film called Guava Island. The first trailer for the movie describes it as a “Childish Gambino film”.

Letitia Wright and Nonso Anozie are also confirmed to appear in it, while it will be directed by Hiro Murai, who worked with Glover on the ‘This Is America’ video and several episodes of Atlanta.
