Due out next year

Netflix have announced a new talent show, ‘Rhythm + Flow’, which will feature Cardi B, Chance The Rapper and T.I. as its judges.

The show is billed as a “search for the next break out hip hop star” and will air in ten hour-long episodes from next autumn.

Auditions take place in Atlanta, Chicago and New York, the home cities of the three judges. If you fancy your chances, you can apply here.

John Legend‘s production company Get Lifted Film are among the team producing the show.

Also announced today, Chance The Rapper is teaming up with MGM on a new musical film inspired by his home city of Chicago.

The film is to be named ‘Hope’, and will feature music by Nico Segal. Chance and Segal have previously worked together on 2015 album ‘Surf’ by The Social Experiment.

Chance recently played with SZA at a tribute concert for the late Mac Miller.

Meanwhile, T.I. made headlines when he slammed former collaborator Kanye West in the wake of his much-publicised meeting with President Donald Trump at The White House.

Cardi B, meanwhile, has been embroiled in a high-profile feud with Nicki Minaj. It recently reached a new public level, with Cardi B posting a series of angry rants against the rapper on Instagram.

Barbara Streisand had kinder words for Cardi, however, during her appearance on ‘Carpool Karaoke’.
