The rapper shared a video on her Instagram page revealing how much her monthly bills are

Cardi B has posted a new video on her Twitter page defending her right to buy luxurious things.

In the clip, the rapper revealed how much her monthly bills are and how big a percentage the IRS takes from stars like her.

“Do you know what I hate?” She asked. “I hate when celebrities do something very extravagant or buy something very luxurious and there’s people in the comments like, ‘You could have donated that’, ‘Oh, we’re going backwards – you should have done this and that.’ It’s like, who are you to tell people what to do with their hard working ass money?”

She continued to state that celebrities get “45 percent” of each paycheque they receive taken by the IRS. “That means in order to spend 500,000 you’ve got to make at least a million,” she said.

“Artists like me and a lot of rappers that I know, they literally take care of their whole family and that’s not tax deductible because the IRS don’t consider that ‘a business’,” Cardi added.

The star went on to explain she had to spend a lot of money to look good and “do all this extra shit to please ya”. “My bills, I’ll say it’s about 300,000, 250,000 every single month,” she said. “And I try to put it cheaper and it just is not.” You can watch the video above.

Meanwhile, Cardi recently landed her first residency in Las Vegas. She will be one of the first artists to perform at the city’s new KAOS club, located at the Palms Casino Resort, with “five to six” shows by the ‘Invasion Of Privacy’ star planned to take place at the venue in 2019.
