They join the previously confirmed headliners Jess Glynne and The Human League

Two more headliners have been added to the line-up for Camp Bestival 2019.

Jess Glynne and The Human League had already been confirmed to headline at the family festival, which will once again take place at Dorset’s Lulworth Castle.

Now, Annie Mac and Nile Rodgers & Chic have been confirmed to be joining them at the top of the bill. Rodgers and his disco band will perform on the Saturday night, while Mac will close out the whole festival with a Sunday night set.

In a press release, Camp Bestival curators Josie and Rob da Bank said: “We’re really proud to unveil two of the world’s biggest party starters in their own fields – Nile and Chic go back a long way with us and they’re going to have everyone dancing at Lulworth Castle. BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac is one of the UK’s best DJs, tastemakers and a mama to boot so we know she’s going to press all the right buttons.

“Josie and I really do strive to make Camp Bestival not only the best family festival out there but also the ultimate way to kick off your summer holidays. This year we’ve got some whacking great headliners and loads of amazing family activities, we will be prioritising our teens to keep ‘em happy with a new screen free area avoiding technology – The Wild Tribe. See you in the fields x”.

Camp Bestival 2019 will take place between July 25-28. Sister Sledge, Big Shaq, Ash, Black Grape, Vengaboys, East 17, Grandmaster Flash, David Rodigan, and Goldie are amongst the other acts to already have been confirmed to play. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.

Nile Rodgers & Chic released their latest album ‘It’s About Time’ last year. It included the single ‘Till The World Falls’, which featured contributions from Vic Mensa and Mura Masa. The track was written by Rodgers, Mura Masa, Anderson.Paak, and more.
