"We suffered a lot" Jin said, in an emotional speech.

BTS‘ Jin has revealed that the group considered “disbanding” earlier this year.

Jin made the admission during the band’s acceptance speech when they won ‘Best Artist’ at the 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

Revealing the pressure the band was under, Jin said: “We suffered a lot this year…We even thought about disbanding but we all gathered our hearts together again, and receiving this award, Iʼm glad that it lead to a good result.

“Iʼm very grateful to our members who were able to unite their hearts and want to say thank you to ARMYs who always love us.”

Meanwhile, a video showing the K-pop superstars meeting Janet Jackson for the first time has been shared from same awards ceremony. The group celebrated with the legendary artist as she accepted the Inspiration Award at the event.

The band later met Jackson backstage, where they shook hands, chatted and posed for a photo together. You can see the moment below.

Yesterday (December 14) the band also announced a new concert film, which will screen in the UK next year for an exclusive one day event.

Shot at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul during the group’s ‘LOVE YOURSELF’ world tour, the film will allow fans to see the spectacle of the band’s unprecedented international success.

The event will screen across the world for one day only – Saturday 26th January, 2019. For the UK, only Vue’s West End cinema in Leicester Square will be showing the film. You can see the screen times below and buy tickets here.
