Biffy Clyro will headline Isle Of Wight Festival 2014.

The Scottish band, who headlined Reading & Leeds festivals in August, will perform on the Main Stage at this year's event, on Friday, June 13. Joining the group on the bill will be Calvin Harris and Rudiemental. Passenger, The 1975 and The Waterboys are all also set to perform across the weekend.

Speaking about his band's headline slot, Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil said: "We are over the moon to announce that we will headline the Main Stage of the Isle of Wight Festival next year, on Friday June 13th. To follow the likes of Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Bob Dylan and Pearl Jam is an honour. We cannot wait to get back to this iconic festival, and this beautiful island!"

Meanwhile, John Giddings, the Festival’s promoter adds: "Friday night is going to kick it out of the park with Biffy & Calvin and special guests Rudimental - I can't wait.... having Passenger and The 1975 already on board we're set for one of our most contemporary years - with the class of The Waterboys complementing the young guns nicely...."

Isle Of Wight Festival takes place between June 13-15. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Thursday December 12 until January 16 at an Early Bird price of £170.
