Amazon has launched its new stand alone music streaming service, Amazon Music Unlimited and the service is now available in the US.
Prices for the new Amazon Music Unlimited start at$4 a month to use it with the Amazon Echo, Dot or Tap, if you want to use it with other devices like your smartphone or tablet it will cost you $10 a month, $8 if your are a Prime subscriber.
There is also a family plan which cost $15 and this will allow six people to use the service at the same time, the family plan has not launched as yet, this will be ‘coming soon’.
Amazon Music Unlimited is different to the company’s Prime Music which comes as part of their Prime subscription. Prime music has around 2 million music tracks where as the new Amazon Music Unlimited has tens of millions of tracks.
The new Music Unlimited service is now available in the US on Amazon devices, iOS and Android and the web, it is also coming to the UK, Austria an Germany before the end of the year.
