Amanda Bynes has given her fans a special look at her new venture into rap music.

The star dropped a snippet of a song named Diamonds, alongside the rapper, Precise on Instagram.

“Diamonds, diamonds, diamonds / On my neck / On my wrist / Diamonds, diamonds, diamonds,” Bynes raps in the snippet.

Bynes, 34, also wrote in the caption, “Hyped on this track!”.

If we’re being technical, Bynes dabbled into music when she was part of the all-star cast in the extremely popular 2007 film adaptation of the musical Hairspray, but this is definitely her first try at the rap genre.

Aside from dabbling in music, the star has been changing up her look recently.

In October 2020, Bynes took to Instagram showing off an edgy new look of black hair and a love-heart face tattoo.

More recently, she appeared to sport large black eyebrows.

The selfie was posted on her fiance Paul Michael’s Instagram.

Bynes became engaged to Michael, whom it’s understood she met in rehab, in February last year. However a month later, reports circulated they had already split.

Michael told E! News in a rare interview in December their relationship was going strong.

“We‘re doing great,” he said.

We go on walks and work every day, like to get coffee, and talk about living together one day.

“We take good care of each other and we’re understanding of one another and she is a good listener and we’re there for each other.”

In an odd twist, Bynes’ lawyer David A. Esquibias later told the website Michael was “using” the star.

“This guy purports to love Amanda and be a source of emotional support. But, it appears to me he is selling access to her to the paparazzi,” Esquibias told E! News.

Bynes, who hasn’t appeared in a movie since romantic comedy Easy A a decade ago, returned to social media in July 2019 after a one-year hiatus, marking her graduation from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.

It’s understood she is still under her parent’s conservatorship, meaning she can’t get married unless a judge signs off on it.
