Quavo and Takeoff have already put out solo records

Migos‘ Offset has announced the release date for his forthcoming solo album.

The rapper will follow in the footsteps of his bandmates Quavo and Takeoff, both of whom have already put out their own records.

Although Offset has yet to reveal the title of the record, he has now appeared to confirm when fans can expect it to land. He has tweeted the date December 14 multiple times recently, which is his birthday but, also, a Friday – now traditionally the day when new records are released.

Quavo’s solo album ‘Quavo Huncho’ was released last month (October 12), while Takeoff’s ‘The Last Rocket’ arrived last week (November 2).

In a four-star review, NME said: “The record’s 35-minute duration feels typical of Takeoff’s more humble approach to business, and, while he does occasionally play it rather safe, his debut solo album still manages to more or less prove that, given the chance, Takeoff is capable of standing out on his own.”

Migos fans won’t have long to wait for new music from the Atlanta trio after Offset’s solo record drops. ‘Culture III’ is set to arrive in early 2019, according to Quavo. The group’s previous records arrived in January 2017 and January 2018.

Meanwhile, Offset became a father again earlier this year, when Cardi B gave birth to the couple’s first daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus.
