    Why seedbox isn't illegal?

    Hi there!

I'm new at this: private trackers.

I was just reading about the seedbox and i came up with this question: why seedbox its illegal?

If a private tracker goes down, if i were a big industrie i'll go after the people that upload most (and that keeps uploading a lot).

I know how a seedbox works. They said that its secure, and have its own IP address. But, the company that i will pay, will have my IP the same way right?

    Please explain! =)

Before seedbox I like to clear one important misunderstanding related to torrent or P2P. Many think that torrent & P2P is totally illegal, even I had seen people say installing utorrent/ bittorrent or any torrent client is illegal. For this some suggest why don't DMCA ask ISP to block all P2P ports

Neither torrent client nor torrent/ P2P is illegal, if any illegal content is shared via torrent/ P2P then that content is illegal not your client. All open source software, Operating systems (like Linux distributions) & other large size files sharing sites prefer P2P, P2P share the load & bandwith among all peers that why company need not to pay high for their server & downloading speed didn't drop on multiple download from different locations. Even Microsoft with release of Windows 10 added P2P for system update (for now it is option but on by default). For your info all scene are released via ftp before they get onto P2P so if P2P is illegal then ftp is too.

    Hope you got it.

I think this question is pretty interesting. Using either your home network or a seedbox for legal torrents is legal, but what about the illegal ones? I think that's the problem of the seedbox hosts and not your one. The only thing you can do for increasing your privacy and safety is to use SFTP connection instead of FTP, because that decreases the chance of getting detected by ISP even more.
