    Setting up a dedicated server

Hello, I have a dedicated server that I want to use as a torrent seedbox, and I have these questions about it: (it has debian installed)
    - Which torrent client do you recommend for private trackers? I may create torrents in a future, so I think I can't use rtorrent.
    - Do I need to create a VPN in the server? I read it in a tutorial, but I don't know if it's necessary and why do I need it.

    Any suggestions? Thanks

you can have rTorrent + ruTorrent webUI installed which can create torrents for you as it is the best client ever i used on linux ! stable and lightweight.

Creating VPN on server depends on what you need VPN for, try OpenVPN which is free
