    Seedbox+VPN Deals?

So, my yearly VPN service is almost gone in a few months and I was thinking about getting a seedbox so my PC isn't running constantly. But I do make use of the VPN properties regularly. Do you guys know of any good options for seedboxes and VPN packages?

Also, I read somewhere that you can use OpenVPN on some seedboxes (using their IP) but is that as secure as a standalone VPN? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

@TheOldestMan My personal feeling is that you should get the same level of security (if using OpenVPN) whether you are using a seedbox or a VPN service. The downside is with the seedbox is you would have the single server to connect too. If the connection is slow or if there is a routing problem your speeds might get diminished.

Now if a seedbox company is offering VPN and seedbox service (where the VPN has multiple servers) then this argument is bunk, but I don't think most companies are doing this. is seedboxes.cc doing this?

Edit: It does look like seedboxes.cc does offer multiple servers so this might be a good option! However they will charge in the future for using the multiple locations.

OpenVPN, L2TP and Softether protocols supported.
Multiple simultaneous connections from different devices
Multiple locations available around the globe (free of charge for limited time)
Also a benefit of using your seedbox for a VPN is dedicated IP vs a shared IP with a typical VPN service.

@Insideman and @NevilleNem thanks for your responses guys. I was checking seedboxes.cc and while it's a little bit above my planned budget, the features seem to be worthwhile including the VPN service (I'll need to check the speeds on that, and the eventual charge for it). There's even some limited Plex support which could be very handy. I guess i'll give them a try for a month, see how it pans out.

@TheOldestMan I also think the pricing is a bit expensive compared to other seedboxes, I don't use them personally but it could serve two purposes for you and hopefully the price is fair enough. The way I see it is a typical VPN service would cost about $50 /yr and a dedicated ip would cost $60 /yr plus if I use my current seedbox I'd be paying about $180 per year (1.5 tb, $84 if I choose the 500 GB option). So for a low end option to have VPN, a slightly dedicated IP (not many users) and a seedbox could be intriguing.
